The Fabled Pizza Tree may be out of print but it is still available online.
- Cookie sheet, Parchment paper, Pencil, Spatula
- Bridgeford frozen bread dough
- Pizza sauce in small bowls
- Shredded cheese in small bowls
- Pepperoni
- Spoons
- Oven
Procedures
- Read the book, The Fabled Pizza Tree, out loud to the students and have them respond as you turn the pages.
- Give each child a plate as a work surface. Give each student a piece of dough and have them make a personal pizza.
- Use a spatula to lift the pizza dough and place it on a cookie sheet covered with parchment. Write the child’s name on the paper adjacent to their pizza and bake.
